A trademark is a sign used to identify the goods and services of different enterprises . Trademark may consist of words ( including personal names ) , indications , designs, letters , words , numerals, figurative elements , colors, sounds, smells , the shape of goods or their packaging , and any combination of these flags posed . Once registered trademark , we will have exclusive right to use the trade mark in relation to goods and services.

I. trademark protection with Company Registration
      In Hong Kong, the company name , business name and registered trademarks are governed by different laws and institutional regulations . Four . Trademark Application Process

The name and address of the applicant ;
Business license or personal identification card of the applicant ;
Trademark ( electronic files ) ;
The trademark of the designated goods or services.
Trademark Application Time

V. trademark validity
Trademark registration date will be retroactive to the date of filing the application for registration , the registered trademark is valid for ten years from the date of approval of the registration.

VI. Trademark renewal
Registered trademarks of expiration , to continue to use , shall, before the expiry of registration application for renewal within six months ; during this period failed to make an application , grant a grace period of six months. Each renewal of registration is valid for ten years.
